(USA, 2002, 53’)
Producer: Lawrence Cumbo
(In person)
In January 2002, an Explorer team joined forces with photographer Steve McCurry to accomplish a seemingly impossible task: find the face that had come to symbolize refugees everywhere - the "Afghan Girl", whose portrait had become famous for appearing on the cover of National Geographic magazine in 1985.

Wild Africa: Mountains

(UK, 2001, 49’) Canadian Premiere
Director: Martyn Colbeck
Producer: Patrick Morris
This journey through jaw-droppingly beautiful scenery reveals wildlife coping with Africa’s most extreme environment. Mountain gorillas, black panthers and bone-breaking vultures are some of the extraordinary mountain animals that live here, fighting for survival on the roof of Africa.
