Hilary Lindh
Hilary Lindh is an MSc student in
the Centre for Applied Conservation Research at the University of
British Columbia (Forest Sciences Department) and is interested in
the ecological impacts of development and recreation in alpine
areas. She hopes discussion with participants in the Mountain
Science Conference will generate ideas about how best to educate
the public about the unique fragility of mountain environments.
Hilary competed in three Olympic Winter Games and attended three
others as an observer. While working on her BSc in biology at the
University of Utah, she served as a member of the Board of
Trustees for the Salt Lake Olympic Committee (SLOC) and its
Environmental Advisory Committee.
