Case study submission format
For Governance and Decision-Making in Mountain Areas, June 4–8, 2005, we are seeking engaging real-life examples of success and innovation in:
- Structures that allow for governance and decision-making at a transnational level
- Regional, multi-jurisdictional cooperation in governance and decision-making
- Collaborative governance structures in mountain protected areas
- Effective incorporation of science into policy-making
- Respectful incorporation of traditional knowledge and decision-making systems
- Successful stakeholder involvement
- Voluntary codes of conduct as a method of implementing policy
- Reducing polarity in policy discussions
Accepted case study presenters will receive a $200 reduction in the conference package of their choice. If you are interested in proposing a case study for use at the conference, please email us (amy_krause@banffcentre.ca) a MS Word or text document that includes the following information. This must be received in our office by March 31, 2005.
