Caroline Lamont

Caroline Lamont has been involved in all aspects of resort and community planning for the past twenty years with experience in both the public and private sectors. With a bachelor of applied arts (urban and regional planning), Caroline has directed her professional experience to resort communities. She has been directly involved in resort oriented master planning, land development review, community outreach and policy compilation.

Caroline has lived and worked as a planner in Whistler since 1989 developing an integrated approach to resort planning issues including long range planning, tourism strategies, economic development, affordable housing, development review, design guidelines, and community needs and services. From 1997 to 1999 Caroline expanded her experience into the US, as the director of planning services with the city of Steamboat Springs.

Since 2001 Caroline has worked with Brent Harley and Associates focusing on planning, policy, and outreach in resort communities. Caroline continues to lives in Whistler, where in 2002 she was elected to the municipal council.
