| For Human Use
Management in Mountain Areas (HUMMA), June 10-14, we are seeking examples of existing
human use management problems that can be used as case studies in facilitated
problem-solving sessions. These case studies should not be past problems that have been
largely solved. They should be problems and issues that are new or continuing, where a
successful solution has not yet been identified. Organizations providing information that is used as a case study in the conference will receive a complete audiotape copy of the discussion that arises out of the case study. If you are interested in proposing a case study for use at the conference, please email: Nancy_Slukynski@banffcentre.ca a Word document that includes the following information. What is the trend is the problem getting worse, getting better, staying the same? 7. Who are the main stakeholders in this issue can you describe each group with a sentence or two? 8. What solutions have been tried? 9. What specific questions would you like answered (maximum 3) 10. How would you recognize success if the right solution were implemented?
