Theodore BinnemaTheodore Binnema

Theodore Binnema is an associate professor of history at the University of Northern British Columbia in Prince George, British Columbia. He is the author of "Common and Contested Ground: A Human and Environmental History of the Northwestern Plains" (2001) and co-editor of From "Rupert’s Land to Canada" (2001). One of his main research interests has been to use historical documents to reconstruct environmental change over time. This has included explorations of how various human communities, including aboriginal communities, have interacted with the world around them. He has also focused his efforts on historic bison behaviour.
