Mark Hebblewhite

Mark graduated from the University of Guelph in 1995 with a BSc. (hons) in
Pure and Applied Ecology, and completed his MSc. in Wildlife Biology from the
University of Montana, where he completed a study of wolf and elk population
dynamics in the Bow Valley of Banff National Park. Mark is presently a PhD
student in the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Alberta
with Dr. Evelyn Merrill, studying migratory elk population dynamics at the Ya
Ha Tinda Ranch, adjacent to BNP. In 2003, Mark was awarded the Canon-National
Parks Science Scholarship for the Americas as one of first two Canadians
ever to receive this scholarship.
