Myles Rademan
is Director of Public Affairs and Communications for
Park City, and president of his own consulting firm,
Rademan & Associates, specializing in
future-oriented keynote presentations, strategic
planning, leadership training, and group
facilitations. Since 1970, Mr Rademan has been
involved in all aspects of strategic planning,
resort development and leadership training. He
served as the Planning Director for Park City, and
as Community Development Director for Crested Butte,
Colorado. He worked with numerous corporations,
communities, and public and private associations on
policy planning, public involvement, environmental
initiatives, and leadership training. His personal
philosophy is proactive and reality-based. He is an
avid student of the sociology and psychology of
communities, and has spoken widely on future trends
and the types of leadership needed to insure success
in turbulent times. He is widely appreciated as a
knowledgeable, vibrant, motivating and entertaining
speaker.
Mr. Rademan holds graduate degrees n law and
urban planning from New York University. He is a
Fulbright Scholar, a Kellogg National Fellow and a
Salzburg Fellow. He has received numerous
professional awards, including the prestigious 2002
Preceptor Award from the International Community
Leadership Association, and has lectured worldwide
on leadership, planning and future trends. He served
as Director of Information for the 2002 Olympic
Winter Games in Park City and was an Olympic Torch
Bearer. He is a board member of the Utah Ski and
Snowboard Association and the Park City
Chamber/Bureau. He was also a founding member of the
Colorado Association of Ski Towns. Me. Rademan is
features in the recent PBS documentary, "Subdivide
and Conquer: A Modern Western", decrying the
environmental impacts of urban sprawl in the Rocky
Mountain West. |
