Nathalie Daoust: Tamas - Frozen in Time2009 Winners

Nathalie Daoust of Canada is the 2009 Grand Prize winner for her ethereal image entitled Tamas — Frozen in Time. This year, for the first time, digital submissions were accepted — and from a total of over 4000 images, 7 category prizes and 10 special mentions were awarded.

Jon Goodman: Bradford Washburn — Photographing in High Places

Jon Goodman has been practicing photogravure full time since 1976 and is devoted to producing editions in photogravure for publishers, artists, photographers, and museums. He has applied this beautiful means of printing the photographic image in ink to his Bradford Washburn portfolio. His work can be found in many public collections including the Museum of Modern Art, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Bibliothèque National in Paris.

Photography Competition Tour

Each year, the winning images from the Photography Competition are showcased in various locations throughout North America, including Denver, Montreal, Revelstoke, Boone, Berkeley, Sandpoint, Coeur d'Alene, Sun Valley, Portland (Oregon), and Bangor.
