Gerald Powderface, Charles Powderface and Duane Mark

First Nations Elders

Gerald Powderface, Charles Powderface and Duane Mark are from the Stoney/Nakoda First Nation of Canada. Gerald Powderface is a spiritual leader in the Stoney/Nakoda community. His brother, Charles, is an educator and traditional singer. Duane Mark is also an educator and traditional singer, as well as the cultural and language coordinator for the Morley Community School. All three men are deeply dedicated to the continuance of Stoney/Nakoda traditional culture and spiritual renewal.
